How can you get involved?
There are lots of ways you can get involved in the Horses4Health event:
-
Register for the Hack & Chat challenge, get a friend or friends to join you and raise some sponsorship
-
Organise a fundraising event or ride
-
Get your yard or riding school involved with a fundraising event or ride
-
Sponsor friends and family to take part
-
Donate using our JustGiving page or text donation number
-
Tell everyone you know about it!
Don't ride or have your own horse?
No problem! You don't have to ride to take part in the event. In our previous events we had people walking, cycling, long-reining, carriage driving and walking ponies in-hand. Our 2023 challenge can be done on horse, foot, bike or a combination! It's all about taking some time out to relax and chat with a friend or group of friends.
There are also lots of other ways you can get involved and raise money for our supported charities through your own fundraising events.
Wellbeing tip of the week
Notice nature
Getting outside in the fresh air and amongst nature does wonders for your wellbeing. Practice mindfulness by spending a few minutes looking at your surroundings to see what is there. Bug hunting is not just for children!
Horses4Health Heroes
At the end of our 2022 event, we gave awards to our amazing members who completed certain challenges throughout the event, raised awesome amounts of money for our charities, or inspired us by going over and above. See some of our Horses4Health heroes by clicking through to read their stories.
